The second photograph is of a Bioswale along Elm Drive in Mississauga, Ontario. The long and narrow bioswale is bordered by grass on either side, and the bioswale channel itself is retained by concrete slabs, filled halfway with mulch and flowering shrubs.

The final photo, a green roof on the District School Board of Niagara’s Walker Living Campus at the Woodend Conservation Area, Ontario shows mullein growing alongside yellow grass and other plants.
